My story.

HOPE. HEALING.

“The feeling of helplessness as you see those you love struggle drives my music and ministry. Being onstage means more than just singing songs or providing an opportunity to lead people in worship. It’s a longing to share with everyone the hope and healing we have through our relationship with God.” -Dave Pettigrew

The new album “Faith & Gasoline” is a reflection of life on the road. The ministry is fueled by the faith & love for God and the gasoline used to get from place to place. The album features a new version of the song “There Is Hope” along with the stand out tracks “Love Is Here,” “Undertow” and “Why Won’t You Love Me.”

This album was produced by hit-maker Scotty Wilbanks who has been the keyboardist and an integral part of the band Third Day for the past 20 years. Partnering together on both songwriting & production, Dave and Scotty worked together to create this new album and take Dave’s music to a new level.

Dave and his band have opened for and shared the stage with MercyMe, For King & Country, Jeremy Camp, Big Daddy Weave, Michael W. Smith, Phil Wickham, Rend Collective, Brandon Heath, Tenth Avenue North, Lincoln Brewster, Mark Schultz and more. The band has toured with Sidewalk Prophets, Brandon Heath, Paul Baloche, Kutless, Love & the Outcome, the JJ Weeks Band and many others.

The artist continues to push deeper into the hearts of his listeners through regular nights of worship in and around the Northeastern United States. “The touring doesn’t stop. We want to reach more people with the message of hope that has taken over our ministry.”

Ministries Supported:

There is Hope Movement

“Addiction has disrupted families across the country, including mine. This has only increased our drive and desire to speak about this epidemic in our country boldly. Our mission is to share the hope of Jesus, so people’s lives change.”

A ministry based on a song written for the 10th anniversary of September 11th, There Is Hope (Hope Is Still Alive) has turned into a rallying cry for those struggling with addiction and those in recovery. The movement has increased dramatically since the loss of dave’s nephew, Ryan, to an accidental heroin overdose in his home in April 2017.

The There Is Hope Movement supports and works with local addiction recovery organizations like Teen Challenge which provide hope and recovery to those struggling with addiction.  You can join us in support of this ministry by purchasing a There is Hope bracelet to give to a loved one. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these bracelets feeds right back into helping someone recover.  Help us spread the message of hope and healing from addiction by supporting the There Is Hope Movement today.

Holt International

“The opportunity to bring hope to children you may never meet this side of heaven, this is what we’re trying to do.  Let’s look beyond our own lives & desires and help others in need. Let’s bring hope to them.” -Dave Pettigrew

As a Holt International Artist, Dave uses his music as a vehicle to speak on behalf of the poorest of the poor. Through his concerts and during his weekly livestream nights of worship, he gives his audience the ability to sponsor a child and save a life from extreme poverty;  proving that hope and possibilities exist across the globe.
